Approved Vendor Lists (AVL)

Many of the community Facebook groups restrict who is allowed to advertise in their groups or make items for their gift exchanges to only those on their list of approved vendors, which can usually be found in their group files.

Groups with AVLs

Different groups have different approval processes for their vendor lists. There are groups that have closed lists that do not accept new vendor applications, some have rigorous quality checking programs, and others require item donations.

Gift Exchange Groups

These groups run monthly “secret Santa” gift exchanges and require all gifts that come in contact with the gliders to be purchased from approved vendors, ensuring gift recipients get quality items.
