Northwood Animal Hospital

Northwood Animal Hospital was founded in 1972 and has been an accredited member of the American Animal Hospital Association (AAHA) since 1975.
The current owners, Dr. Sondra Brown and Dr. Kevin Brumfield, have owned the hospital since January 2000. We have seven doctors and a well trained and caring staff that allow us to provide the best patient care available. We are open for normal business hours and remain open after hours as PETS Emergency Hospital. We have a veterinary technician and other support staff present after hours and a doctor on call if an after hour emergency arises. If your pet has to be hospitalized, they will have 24 hour care at a single location with the top technical staff and doctors available.

Each of our doctors has special areas of interest which expands the level of care your pet will receive. Internal medicine, soft tissue and orthopedic surgery, emergency and critical care, dentistry, exotic pet care (birds, ferrets, small mammals, reptiles and amphibians, etc), advanced diagnostics (ultrasound, digital radiology, dental radiology), dermatology, parasitology, behavioral consultations, and even fish medicine are some of the areas where we can assist your pet
