Avian & Exotic Animal Medical Services is dedicated exclusively to the care of birds, exotic pets, and zoo animals.  We treat hamsters, geckos, canaries, guinea pigs, turtles, cockatiels, rabbits, bearded dragons, parrots, foxes, iguanas, macaws, cougars, tortoises, tigers, ligers, alligators, emus, anteaters, camels, cobras, vipers, the occasional elephant……………… etc.  Our doctors and staff have decades of experience dealing with exotic pets, public pet collections, and commercial parks, so we’ve pretty much seen it all.  Most importantly, if we can’t provide the service you need, we know who can, and we’ll get you connected.

In the end, our goal is to see that the patient gets the care it needs, regardless of who provides it.

Finding a place to board your exotic pet while you’re away can be a real challenge.  We understand this dilemma, and have attempted to offer a viable option by creating a space within the hospital dedicated solely to caring for exotic pets that simply need “baby sitting”.  We have reptile specific habitats with full-spectrum lighting, safe enclosures for rabbits and other small mammals, and large flights to accommodate large, long-tailled macaws.  Almost any exotic pet can be provided with safe housing while you’re away.  Sorry, we probably can’t keep a full-grown tiger at this point, but cubs are welcome!
